We are chimney sweeps, not data collectors. Here is exactly what happens to any details you give us, in plain English.
If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, phone number, email address and message you type in. If you ring or email us directly, we have whatever you choose to tell us. That is the lot. The website has no analytics trackers, no advertising cookies and no login accounts.
One thing only: getting back to you and arranging your job. Your details go to Alan and Dean Naish, who use them to reply, give you a price, book the visit and issue your certificate. We do not send marketing emails, we do not sell or share your details with anyone, and we never will.
The form is delivered to our email inbox by Web3Forms, a form delivery service. It passes your message straight through to us. Your message then lives in our email like any normal correspondence.
We keep correspondence and job records for as long as is useful for looking after your chimney, since knowing when a flue was last swept is genuinely helpful for both of us, and for as long as the law requires for business records.
You can ask us at any time what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email [email protected] or call 0208 668 9914 and it will be done. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
